The Composer and Music Director
Pete Zhao 赵岳 is a composer, writer, interpreter and educator.
Pete has been working as a professional composer, orchestrator, music director, and music editor for various organizations and programs including nationwide TV reality shows, TV drama series, radio programs, independent films, and video games.
Pete has also composed and conducted for many theatre projects, music festivals and local orchestras.
Pete has won several awards for his work in film music and sound.
The Educator
Pete has been teaching in both private sessions and medium-to-large group sessions including major studios and music education organizations.
Subjects include: music theory, music composition, voice and band performance.
Personal
Pete Zhao 赵岳 is originally from Beijing, China. Having studied and worked for over a decade in Canada and United States, Pete not only speaks fluent English and Chinese, but also understands both worlds culturally.
Pete is a Summa Cum Laude Berklee graduate who currently resides in Greater Toronto and Great LA area.
